What We Do...

• Perform all practice billing system setup functions including providers, rate schedules, service location, billing parameters and client preferences. **
• Release all of all charges, post payments and adjustments.
• Electronically submit all insurance claims to appropriate carriers (when possible and reasonable) including Medicare, BC/BS, Medicaid, and all Commercial / Managed Care payers possible.
• Generate mail and non-electronic insurance claims.
• Handle and resolve all insurance payer billing inquiries.
• Telephone and correspond with “slow payment” insurance payments,  including follow up, research and resubmission of denial from explanation of benefits (EOB’s) where applicable.
• Refer all accounts to collection agencies per client approval if applicable.
• Assume all costs associated with the above responsibilities including labor, telephone, postage charges, stock forms, CMMS-1500 forms, sending envelopes, return envelopes (for client statements) and report generation.
• Provide complete monthly reports.
• Notify practice of any client or insurance refunds to be made by practice and process any refunds accordingly with the insurance payers.
